About MILKFACE
Inspired by the idea of life in space, MILKFACE create a world where emotions float freely, weightless, fragile and honest. The songs feel like diary entries from another orbit, revolving around missed chances, recurring dreams and the hope that someone is waiting somewhere far away. They tell stories about longing, distance and the strange comfort of dreaming about a place that doesn’t quite exist.
Rooted in indie music with a decided international sound, MILKFACE draw inspiration from artists like Tame Impala and Mk.gee, while echoing the melodic sensitivity and songwriting spirit of The Beatles. Their music doesn’t try to explain everything, but instead invites listeners to drift, reflect and find their own meaning in the empty spaces between the lines.
