Music For Everyone Presents: emPOWER
Universal Production Music is proud to present emPOWER, an album series dedicated to creating opportunities for Black American artists, providing space for Black storytelling and emphasizing the importance of representation in production music.
Discover the authentic sound of Gospel, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Hip-Hop, Trap and Country albums, created by majority Black artists, songwriters and storytellers.
Music For Everyone Presents: 100% HER
100% HER is Universal Production Music’s global initiative dedicated to increasing visibility, representation and providing long-term career opportunities for women in the production music industry.
Launched in 2019, 100% HER was created to address the lack of female representation across our roster as well as the wider production music industry. We partnered with She Said So, and She is the Music to release albums created by female writers, producers, and mixing/mastering engineers, garnering industry-wide success. Following this, the 100% HER mentorship program launched, matching female composers with experienced mentors.
At its core, 100% HER is about creating meaningful change - ensuring that women are not only represented in music production, but empowered to shape the future sound of sync.

Music For Everyone Presents: Futures
Universal Production Music has partnered with the PRS Foundation in the UK, to launch ‘Futures,’ a new initiative supporting young music creators from underrepresented communities with grants, workshops, networking, and career development opportunities. ‘Futures’ plays a fundamental role in our mission to champion Music for Everyone, while building a powerful talent development network for pioneering new artists.
The program will leverage the PRS Foundation’s existing initiatives, such as Women Make Music, Classical: Next, and POWER UP, as well as regional support through the PPL Momentum Music Fund.
Together, Universal Production Music and the PRS Foundation aim to break down industry barriers related to gender, race, socioeconomic background, and foster a more inclusive environment.
